History

In 2002, a group of like-minded individuals with the passion and drive to achieve harmonious and successful family life in line with the national agenda and who believe that good and effective parenting skills is the foundation of a resilient family came together to found Just Parenting Association (JPA). JPA was formally registered as a society on 8 January 2004.

Between 2004 and 2008, JPA has organised/co-organised numerous parenting skills seminars, talks & symposiums, child excellence festivals & various teen-focused workshops that aims to educate and equip parents with the tools to handle high-risk teens and teens sexuality issues.

In 2005, JPA’s scope of operation was widened to reach out to more families nationwide and we were registered as a charity on 4 October of that year. JPA remains a proud member of the National Council of Social Services (NCSS).
